First Heritage Federal Credit Union was founded and chartered for business in 1954 by a group of 10 employees from Ingersoll-Rand Company. As a company- chartered credit union, we serve all people who live, work, worship, attending school, or other legal entity in Chemung, Steuben, Livingston, Schuyler, Tioga, Allegheny and Yates counties in New York, plus Bradford, Lycoming, Potter and Tioga counties in Pennsylvania. We currently serve over 44,000 members in our communities with branches in Corning, Painted Post, Elmira, Elmira Heights, Horseheads, Addison, Hornell, Wellsboro and Mansfield. Our credit union and staff are committed to strengthening our communities by supporting local charities and volunteering countless hours with several area non-profit organizations and supporting our youth through financial education initiatives.
