NRA International Youth Hunters Education Challenge

Mansfield will be a very busy place!  It’s the 25th anniversary of NRA International Youth Hunters Education Challenge...and it’s happening here in our own back yard! Hundreds of teens and their families from across the United States will be here generating over a million dollars for our business community. Lodging, restaurants, recreational facilities, to name few, will be positively impacted by this visit.

Your chamber is developing a welcome packet for all of the visitors. We’d like to include something special from you; maybe something with your businesses name on it, such as, a pen, notepad, or candy.  We would certainly welcome donations which would be used for supplies for activities like an ice cream social or community scavenger hunt. 

The Mansfield Chamber of Commerce will prepare a coupon /advertisement book that will be included in the packet. Cost for a business card sized coupon will be $10 each. 

One of our committee members will be in contact with you shortly to arrange pick up of your addition to our packet.

Please join us for opening ceremonies on July 26 Straughn Auditorium on MU’s campus.  The hunter’s challenge events will be held daily at Lambs Creek Recreational Facility.  Feel free to stop by and watch the amazing skills of these youth hunters.  Additional details will be provided as they become available.
